TikTok Live Downloader & Recorder
Type a @username: watch the live here, record it on our server while it is on, then download the MP4. No app, no login, free.
Records while you are away
The recording runs on our server, not on your phone: close the page, lock the screen or lose your connection, the live keeps being saved.
No app, no login
No TikTok account, no screen recorder, no extension. Type a @username in your browser on iPhone, Android or computer, and press record.
A clean MP4 file
The original stream, video and sound, in one MP4 that plays everywhere, without the comments, gifts and buttons a screen recording would capture.
Record a TikTok live and save it as MP4
TikTok lets you watch a live only while it is on, and keeps no public replay afterwards. Tiklo's TikTok live downloader fixes that: type the creator's @username, check that the live is on, and press "Record this live". Our server records the stream from that moment, in its original 720p quality with sound, until the live ends or you stop it, then hands you a single MP4 file. No app, no screen recording, no login.
You can also simply watch the live in your browser, anonymously: you do not appear in the creator's viewer list. The recording keeps going if you close the page, and the file stays available for 24 hours.
How to record a TikTok live
-
Find the live
Copy the @username of the creator who is live, or the link of the live (tiktok.com/@name/live), and paste it above. Tiklo shows whether the account is live, its title and how many people are watching.
-
Press "Record this live"
The recording starts on our server right away. You can watch the live in the page, keep browsing or close the tab: it continues until the live ends, you stop it, or after three hours.
-
Download the MP4
Press "Stop and save" or wait for the end of the live. A few seconds later the "Download MP4" button appears. The file stays available for 24 hours under "Your recordings".
Why record a TikTok live?
A TikTok live disappears the moment it ends. Recording it is the only way to watch it again, and screen recording a phone for an hour is not a real option.
Watch it later
A live at 3 a.m. or during work: start the recording, close the page and watch the whole thing when you have time.
Creators and brands
Keep your own lives to cut highlights for Reels, Shorts or TikTok, or archive a competitor's product launch, a Q&A or a TikTok Shop live sale.
Fans and families
Keep the live of a favourite creator, an artist's concert, a gaming stream or a family moment shared on TikTok before it is gone.
What the TikTok live recorder does
It works with any public account that is live at the moment you press record:
- Shows whether an account is live, with the title, the viewer count and how long it has been on.
- Plays the live in your browser, anonymously, without the TikTok app.
- Records the original stream (video and sound, up to 720p) on our server for up to three hours.
- Keeps recording if the stream drops for a moment, and stops by itself when the live ends.
- Gives you one MP4 file, kept 24 hours, that you can download on your phone or computer.
Limitations
- Only lives that are on now: TikTok publishes no replay, so a live that already ended cannot be recovered, here or anywhere else.
- Recording starts when you press the button: what was said before is not in the file.
- Private and subscriber-only lives cannot be recorded, and each recording is limited to three hours.
No replay on TikTok
TikTok has no public "rediffusion" of lives: once a live ends, viewers cannot watch it again, and only the creator sometimes gets a private replay in the app. The only way to rewatch a live later is to record it while it is on. Start the recording as soon as the live begins, and you will have the whole thing.
Content rights and privacy
A live belongs to its creator. Record it for personal use, and ask before publishing anything from it. Tiklo stores the file for 24 hours only, then deletes it, and never logs which account you recorded. Nothing here is linked to a TikTok account, so the creator is not notified.
